Next week (the 31st) is our last week for this activity. THANK YOU to all who have helped so far. We have increased numbers each week. October 3 - 60 served October 10 - About 80 served October 17 - 100 served October 24 - 95 servings of macaroni & cheese (ran out) and 108 Sloppy Joe Sandwiches served to drive-thru customers plus about 8 sandwiches eaten by workers and will still had some sloppy joe left so that will go in the freezer for now. October 31 - How many do you think we will have???? Anyone can attend! I had to go to Family Dollar to get some additional buns this evening. While I was there, a gentleman said he had just come from the park with his meal. He said "Boy, that chili was sure good the other week" and he asked who made it. I told him it was our "Secret Recipe" since we all just dumped the chili we made into the roaster pan. Tomorrow (Tuesday), we will pack 111 bags. This number is up by 3. The school requested 3 additional bags for the HS/JHS office pick-ups. Darlene & Sarah G.R.A.C.E.
