Tuesday, January 30th - Packing at normal time. The menu we planned to use on January 23rd will be used that day. Bags will be delivered to the school on Friday, February 2nd.

** Faith Builders new Bible study group will be taking a break due to schedules and ball games. Will be looking for a time coming up soon to get back started. We will be looking to start a new Faith Builders Class at the beginning of our Lenten season, so be on the look out for this new class! Let Pastor Mike know if you are interested!

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place Thursday February 1st at 6:00.

** Our Cornerstone Men's group will be going again on Wednesday January 31st at 7:00. Let us know if you are attending and we can get you a copy of our Proverbs study!

** Looking for people to join a new small group. This group will meet once a month and will tackle a tough topic that takes some reflection. Think of it as a Bible study, but a little deeper! Want to go deeper? Let us know!

**Missions Moment - time to get involved! - we have been busy helping families in need within our community! We are also looking for more ways to make an impact in our community! If you have any ideas, reach out to Sue Walls and let her know!

** We are now collecting boxes of spaghetti or macaroni for the Five Loaves Food Pantry. 1 or 2 lb. boxes, no sauce! We need 55 by Feb. 18th. They give out meals and food boxes Wed. Feb. 21st at 4:30 pm. If you would like to help carry boxes!

The following update covers the remaining January packing days.

Because school was closed today, we were unable to distribute the bags that we packed on Wednesday, January 17th.  That has changed our schedule.

Tuesday, January 23rd - Packing cancelled. Bags from January 17th will be delivered to the school on Friday, January 26th. Based on what the current forecast shows for January 23rd, it may be a good thing we are cancelling that day (freezing rain).
Tuesday, January 30th - Packing at normal time. The menu we planned to use on January 23rd will be used that day. Bags will be delivered to the school on Friday, February 2nd.
Some good news - On Wednesday, we received the United Way Grant money ($10,000.00).    Also, it is now only 60 days until the calendar says "Spring"!

Those who help get everything out should be at the church by 9:30 a.m.  Others, please be there before 10:00 a.m.
Possibilities members should arrive by 10:00 a.m. to help with bagging the items.
Please continue to pray for G.R.A.C.E. and the students and their families who receive bags.
Also, please pray that God will continue to lead us on the path he wishes us to take and that additional funding resources will be found - based on God's plan.

** We are now collecting canned vegetables for the Five Loaves Food Pantry. We need 110 by Jan. 14th. They give out meals and food boxes Wed. Jan. 17th at 4:30 pm. If you would like to help carry boxes!
