** Pastor Mike will  NOT likely be in the office on any specific day this week. I now have a nurse visiting me everyday to unpack and pack my wound. I am praying that all changes on Wednesday when the doctor gets to see me again!

** Last Sunday Worship Night - The combined teams from Quincy and Cornerstone made the decision to take a summer break for our Last Sunday Worship Nights. With vacations, graduations, and fair weeks, there will be limited availability for people to be involved. See you in August or September!

** Allegheny West Annual Conference was on June 24th - 27th at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Part of the Miracle Offering 2026 was more than just monetary support. We agreed to pray with our brothers and sisters in the Congo. I hope and pray that you will join us on Wednesday night July 22nd at 7:30 (and all day, even at home) so we can pray for our family in Kinshasa and all across the Dominican Republic of Congo.

We will serve lunch every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

We will serve each Wednesday through August 12th (weather permitting).

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on July 16th. They will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm. Come for some fellowship and care, with some fun of course! Feel free to stop in and check it out!

** Our Cornerstone Men's Group is once again caught with a scheduling conflict. We will begin to meet again, the 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights at 6:00 starting on July 22nd! Be sure to join us if you are looking for a way to get connected.

** Youth Group Sunday Night!!! We will be back on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in July!

** Looking for people to join a new small group. Let me know what your availability is and we can find a way to start something new, or get you plugged into something that will fit your schedule!

**Free Sale - Saturday August 1st 10am-2pm! - July 26—after church, set-up for the FREE SALE / July 27-July 30, 6-8pm—Donations accepted 

**Missions Moment - Our church will be providing the free lunch in the park on Wednesday, July 15th.  We will meet at the church by 11 a.m. to assemble the sack lunches and then go to the park to set up and distribute the meals.  All volunteers are appreciated for this community outreach program!  Just being there and talking to people as they eat lunch is a great contribution!  Thanks for your support in being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community!  

The free community garden produce stand is now up and running for the season and ready to accept donations of garden produce and non-perishable goods to share.  The stand is located in the New Beginnings Church parking lot.  If you have any plastic bags to recycle, please bring them to Church or drop off in the bin at the stand.  

We are slightly re-structuring our missions team to delegate tasks better for our outreach ministries.  Sue Walls will oversee the mission efforts of our church, but certain people will be responsible for organizing and completing outreach projects we are doing so the workload will be spread out more.  Anyone wanting to help with missions is always welcome to assist any time!  Please see Sue for more info or for any questions regarding missions team work in our church.

Offerings to the Miracle Offering will help the DRC meet the following needs of Clean Water, Motorcycles & Transportation, Education, Business Loans & Grants to sustain local churches and pastors, and A bridge fund to help meet needs while we build direct connections between circuits in Allegheny West and West Congo. **Action Steps to Living and Forgiving

Step 1: Decide to Forgive: Colossians 3:13 “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”

Step 2: Rely on God's Strength: Ephesians 4: 31-32 - "Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”

**Action Steps to Living Without Offense

Step 1: Overlook Offenses: Proverbs 19:11 “Sensible people control their temper; they earn respect by overlooking wrongs." Choose to overlook offenses as a sign of wisdom, which covers a "multitude of sins" rather than focusing on personal slights.

Step 2: Forgive Immediately: Ephesians 4:32 - "Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." Release offenders, remembering that God forgave you first. Forgiveness is not optional, but essential for breaking the cycle of anger.

Step 3: Set Biblical Boundaries: Matthew 18:15 - “If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back." If offense is persistent, follow the biblical pattern of confronting the issue directly and quietly, rather than gossiping or nursing resentment.

Step 1: Celebrate the Eternal King: Daniel 7:14 - "He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal—it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.”

Step 2: Our Sacrificial King: Revelation 19: 12-13 - "His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God.”

Step 3: Our King Is Alive: Acts 2:31 - "David was looking into the future and speaking of the Messiah’s resurrection. He was saying that God would not leave him among the dead or allow his body to rot in the grave.”

There will be no packing this week as Riverside is on Spring Break. We will pick back up next Tuesday at 9:30 for setup and packing at 10:00 am.

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on April 2nd. They will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm. Come for some fellowship and care, with some fun of course! Feel free to stop in and check it out!

** Our Cornerstone Men's Group will be off this week with Archery taking a break and it being Holy Week. We will be starting a new study on Saturday mornings in May. Look for the details soon.

** Youth Group Sunday Night!!! We will be back on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in March! Be on the lookout!

**Cornerstone Archery - Is Off this week due to Spring Break. We can still register for the Tournament at Graham on April 18th. We will register our students if they desire to compete and parents can register with us. 

**Cornerstone Archery will be starting its Winter Session on February 24th in the new building at Riverside Schools. Updates to the registration will be going out this week so stay tuned!
