All the videos from the Annual Conference are now posted on their website! ** G.R.A.C.E. notes for this week. We will be doing bag packing for November 14th and November 21st on Tuesday, November 14th. Riverside only has school on November 20th and 21st (Monday & Tuesday) before the Thanksgiving holiday break. We will deliver that week's bags on Monday, November 20th. In order to accomplish that, we will assemble and pack for the week of the 14th and then assemble and pack bags for the 21st. How did Thanksgiving week get here already? **If you sometimes help but are unable to help pack on the 14th or can't stay to do the 2nd packing, please let me know ([email protected] or 419-371-5515). It is easier for us to know who in advance may not be there than to get there and wonder who else might show up. We will have Possibilities helpers for the first packing only. This is an opportunity for you to invite people to church and share a thanksgiving meal with them right after! ** We will also be having baptisms on November 19th! If you are someone who would like to be baptized or would like to remember your baptism, what a great opportunity to get that accomplished! ** Light Hours has been a great resource for our college age young people. Stay tuned for our next meeting day and time. ** Faith Builders new Bible study group will be taking a break due to schedules and ball games. Will be looking for a time coming up soon to get back started. We will be looking to start a new Faith Builders Class in January, so be on the look out for this new class! ** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place Thursday November 17th at 6:00. ** Our Cornerstone Men's group will be looking to get started again. Many are looking at Wednesday nights at 7:00 as the opportune time that they are available. Check your schedules! **Missions Moment - time to get involved! The free community produce tent is done for the year. We have some lumber that needs to make its way to the church and set up as a more permanent lean-to structure for next year. This can likely wait until spring. ** Our Advent series will be based on the book, Hidden Christmas by Timothy Keller. How are the details of Christmas often missed for the simple version. How can we go deeper this Christmas? If you would like to get a copy of the book to read as we go through December you can pick one up here: https://a.co/d/4uxCyZ4 We will also be providing a weekly study guide that goes along with it for those who want to go deeper. Gifts include: dolls stuffed animals, shoes, toy cars, jump ropes, yo-yos, toys that light up and make noise (w/ batteries), toothbrushes, washcloths, combs, hair brushes, small water bottles, socks, sunglasses, jewelry & watches, pens, pencils, sharpeners, crayons and markers, notebooks and paper, coloring and picture books. DO NOT INCLUDE: candy, toothpaste, gun, used or damaged items, scary or war-related items, seeds, food, liquids or lotions, medications or vitamins, breakable and glass containers, or aerosol cans.
