This Week: Dec. 11th thru Dec. 17th

** Thank you to Darcie Jenkins, Brad Jenkins, Shelly Perk, and all the kids who took their time to put together an amazing Christmas program yesterday! What a great celebration! I will be posting the edited version of the program online today!

** The new website and email are active and are the new contact locations for all things Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff. https://www.cornerstonedegraff.org/ is online but still a work in progress. You are hopefully using the new [email protected] for the church email. 

** There are positions available within the church for you to get involved and belong to this body of believers. I hope that you are prayerfully looking for the ways in which God is seeking for you to grow in your faith, and serve others so that you might have the opportunity to see God at work!

** Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff is a Global Methodist Church, and we will are in the Allegheny West Conference and you can visit their site at https://alleghenywestgmc.org/ if you are wanting more information!  All the videos from the Annual Conference are now posted on their website!
** G.R.A.C.E. notes for this week.

We will be doing bag packing for December 12th and December 19th on Tuesday, December 12th.

PLEASE NOTE - Please be at the church by 8:30 a.m. to start packing #1.

Possibilities will be there at their regular time and that will be for the 2nd packing.

We also plan to provide Possibilities members with Christmas bags.  We are planning on 24 - if you would like to donate any items.

God provided us with a blessing last week.  We received a $10,000 grant from United Way (we are a United Way funded organization).  That will provide funding for about 13 weeks of meals.

We need to look at becoming a 501(c)(3) organization.  There are some grants that we cannot apply for because we are not currently and even though we are affiliated with churches, they are excluded from some grants as well.

** Light Hours has been a great resource for our college age young people. Stay tuned for our next meeting day and time. 

** Faith Builders new Bible study group will be taking a break due to schedules and ball games. Will be looking for a time coming up soon to get back started. We will be looking to start a new Faith Builders Class in January, so be on the look out for this new class!

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place Thursday December 7th at 6:00.

** Our Cornerstone Men's group will be going again on Wednesday December 6th at 7:00. Let us know if you are attending and we can get you a copy of our Proverbs study!

**Missions Moment - time to get involved!
The free community produce tent is done for the year. We have some lumber that needs to make its way to the church and set up as a more permanent lean-to structure for next year. This can likely wait until spring. 

** Our Advent series will be based on the book, Hidden Christmas by Timothy Keller. How are the details of Christmas often missed for the simple version. How can we go deeper this Christmas? We will also be providing a weekly study guide that goes along with it for those who want to go deeper. You will be able to pick those up during Lent, or download them from our website!

** We are now collecting candy canes for the Five Loaves Food Pantry.  We have all of the candy canes that we need for the Five Loaves Food Pantry!! Will be looking forward to January.
