** Upcoming Events:
**Action Steps to Worshiping the King Jesus! - Step 1: Acknowledge Jesus as King: Revelation 1: 5–6 tells us that Jesus is ruler of all the kings of the earth. He is in charge, and we would be wise to admit it. Step 2: Submit to His Authority: James 4:7: "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you". When we submit to His will, the difference is freedom! Step 3: Serve Others: Mark 10:45 "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many". Jesus is the best King, because He demonstrated for us what a servant King looks like. ** Each Month of 2024 we are going to have a Christian principle that we will focus on. It takes about $700 per week to feed the 108 students we are currently feeding - around $6.50 per bag. Considering how much prices have risen, I believe we do a good job keeping our costs down and still providing food items that include some items from each food group. The $6.50 per bag is our cost because we have some things donated that are not in that calculation (food donations from Our Daily Bread, individuals, and churches). Recently, we received bags of oatmeal, rice with vegetables, and canned chicken from Belle Center Presbyterian Church's outreach. There is money coming in through grants and the like, but keep praying! God has always been faithful to our mission, and He is reaching our community through our efforts!
