**Action Steps to Living With Jesus

Step 1: Make Jesus A Priority: Luke 9: 23-24 - “Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.” - Daily, surrender your own plans and desires for God’s will.

Step 2: Abide In The Vine: John 15: 4-5 - "Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”

Step 3: Walk In Obedience: John 14; 15-16 - "“If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.” When we walk with Him in obedience, we go in strength.

** Pastor Mike will  NOT likely be in the office on any specific day this week. This week is scattered with Grady doing track and rehearsal, and myself having therapy days on top of that. I will be in the office, but not sure what days that will be.

** Last Sunday Worship Night - Unfortunately we took last night off due to weather. We will be back in Quincy on March 29th at 6:00 pm! Our Palm Sunday night might take on a whole new meaning!

** Did you know that God has blessed you with a special set of skills and gifts? He has also called you to be involved and belong to this body of believers. Be prayerful over the possibilities that God is desiring to use you. There are many ways in which you can get involved. Reach out to Pastor Mike with the ways in which God is calling you to be active!

We are back to packing on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Hopefully the weather improves and kids will get back to school!

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on March 5th. They will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm. Come for some fellowship and care, with some fun of course! Feel free to stop in and check it out!

** Our Cornerstone Men's Group is potentially looking at switching days. Next week we will begin our next session of Cornerstone Archery, so we might be looking for a new day. 

** Several of our members, including Pastor Mike will be attending the Spirit & Truth Conference in Dayton on March 20 -21. This year we sensed the Spirit nudging us to dive deep into the fullness of God. Paul prays powerfully in Ephesians 3:14-21 that Christians would be strengthened with power through the Holy Spirit, be rooted in love, and have the ability to comprehend the vastness of Christ’s love for us. He goes on to pray that all of this will lead us to be “filled with all the fullness of God.” Jesus said in John 10:10 that he has come that we might have life to the full! We are called to something deeper and fuller than a meager Christian life that just dabbles in the things of God. God has given us the gift of himself through the Holy Spirit that we might experience this fullness of the kingdom…now! Head over to https://www.spiritandtruth.life/dayton to register.

** Youth Group Sunday Night!!! We will be back on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in March! Be on the lookout!

**Cornerstone Archery - Tomorrow Night March 3rd at 6:00 in the elementary gym at Riverside Local School. You can still register at the link below.

**Cornerstone Archery will be starting its Winter Session on February 24th in the new building at Riverside Schools. Updates to the registration will be going out this week so stay tuned! **Missions Moment - 31 Boxes were packed and shipped for Operation Christmas Child so that children across the world were able to have a good Christmas. We also participated with Quincy Methodist Church in the Good Deeds Advent Calendar. 25 different charities across our local community, state, country and the world benefited from our giving!

** We are now collecting pudding (mix or single servings) for the Five Loaves Food Pantry. We need 55 by March 15th. They give out meals and food boxes Wed. March 18th at 4:30 pm. If you would like to help pack and deliver boxes.
