**Action Steps to Coming Home To God

Step 1: Confession: 1 John 1:9 “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”

Step 2: Turn Away (Repent): Isaiah 55:7 - "Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.”

Step 3: Be Obedient To God: Proverbs 3: 5-6 - “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

** Pastor Mike will  NOT likely be in the office on any specific day this week. I now have a nurse visiting me everyday to unpack and pack my wound. The wound is better than it has been since my surgery on April 27th and looking better every day. I am praying that we will be all healed and ready for Annual Conference on June 24th!

** Last Sunday Worship Night - The combined teams from Quincy and Cornerstone made the decision to take a summer break for our Last Sunday Worship Nights. With vacations, graduations, and fair weeks, there will be limited availability for people to be involved. See you in August or September!

** Did you know that God has blessed you with a special set of skills and gifts? He has also called you to be involved and belong to this body of believers. Be prayerful over the possibilities that God is desiring to use you. There are many ways in which you can get involved. Reach out to Pastor Mike with the ways in which God is calling you to be active!

• Missions Committee Chairperson - Lead and organize all those who are already doing missions events and outreach from our Church to the community.
• Church Lay Leader - Represent the congregation by attending all meetings possible and being the voice of the church within each meeting.

** Allegheny West Annual Conference is right around the corner. June 24th - 27th at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Miracle Offering 2026 will support the Allegheny West mission partnership with  Democratic Republic of Congo Annual Conference. Our miracle offering goal is$160,000. Offerings to the Miracle Offering will help the DRC meet the following needs of Clean Water, Motorcycles & Transportation, Education, Business Loans & Grants to sustain local churches and pastors, and A bridge fund to help meet needs while we build direct connections between circuits in Allegheny West and West Congo. If you wish to donate, please mark your offering in an envelope accordingly and we will add to our offering!

No more packing!! It is time for Summer Break and our lunches in the DeGraff Park.

We will serve lunch every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

We will serve each Wednesday through August 12th (weather permitting).

Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff hosts this week!

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on June 18th. They will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm. Come for some fellowship and care, with some fun of course! Feel free to stop in and check it out!

** Our Cornerstone Men's Group will begin again on Wednesday June 10th! We will be looking at the book "Stand Firm and Act Like Men" by Joby Martin. Join us at 6:30! We will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month!

** Youth Group Sunday Night!!! We will be back on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in May! Be on the lookout!

** Looking for people to join a new small group. Let me know what your availability is and we can find a way to start something new, or get you plugged into something that will fit your schedule!

**Jesus In The Old Testament Bible Study - We are looking for people who are available on Saturday mornings from 8:00 - 9:30 to join our Bible Study, led by Gerry Huseman and talking about how we find Jesus in the Old Testament. Please reply to this email if you are interested and we can get you on the list. Gerry will be making binders for every participant! Starting May 9th!

**Missions Moment - We are looking for a new Missions chairperson to lead us towards giving back to our community. If you are a good organizer with contacts within the community feel free to get in touch with us.

** We are collecting instant potatoes (mashed, scalloped, etc...) and we need 55 by June 14th. Meals and food boxes are delivered on Wed., June 17th at 4:30pm. If you would like to help pack and deliver boxes.
