** ** 5 Action Steps to Clear Vision in 2025

Step 1: Pray Intentionally and Often - 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 - Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Step 2: Study the Bible Regularly - Romans 15:4 - For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Step 3: Engage in a Faith Community & Worship - Hebrews 10: 24-25 - Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Step 4: Provide Service to Community - 2 Corinthians 5:20 - So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

Step 5: Make Disciples Who Make Disciples - John 15:8 - When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

** Pastor Mike will be in the office on Tuesdays from 9-1 starting this week. It will be more effective to get to Lunch Buddies and to be there for backpack packing!

**Grief Share Group - We have had the same two people over the past three months so they have decided that we will meet as necessary. If you would like to be a part of a grief sharing group, please let Pastor Mike know and we can get it back!

** The new website and email are active and are the new contact locations for all things Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff. https://www.cornerstonedegraff.org/ is online but still a work in progress. You are hopefully using the new [email protected] for the church email.

** There are positions available within the church for you to get involved and belong to this body of believers. Be prayerful over the possibilities that God is desiring to use you. 
- We are also looking for a Lay Leader for the church!
There are many more ways in which you can get involved. Reach out to Pastor Mike with the ways in which God is calling you to be active!

Due to the uncertainty of the weather through Monday, we are moving packing day to Thursday, January 9th.  Normal time - start putting things out at 9:15 a.m. and then pack.

** Light Hours is a small group for our college age, young adults and would like a Bible study for your age group, let me know. We can get something started that fits your schedules!

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on January 16th and they will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm.

** Our Cornerstone Men's group needs to get started! I am going to be starting a Tuesday night group starting in the New Year! We are going to get "Dialed In". Our first meeting will be on Tuesday January 7th at 7:00!! - Note the time change as PPR will be meeting at 6:00.

** 5th Quarter has come to a close. We are looking to create a small group that will begin to meet and discuss our plans for next year. Be looking out for the when and where!

** Looking for people to join a new small group. This group will meet once a month and will tackle a tough topic that takes some reflection. Think of it as a Bible study, but a little deeper! Want to go deeper? Let us know!

**Missions Moment - We will also be working through the school to find a way to help a family or families during the holidays!

** We are now collecting canned vegetables for the Five Loaves Food Pantry. We need 110 by Jan. 12th. They give out meals and food boxes Wed. Jan. 15th at 4:30 pm. If you would like to help carry boxes!

Two years ago we were On Mission! Worship - Reflect - Pray - Study - Serve - you can still use these methods! In 2023 we used the 5-S Method of Being The Church - Surrender - Surrounded - Spirit-Led - Self-Fed - Sent - We can still use the tools that we have been given to make sure that we have a fruitful relationship with God!

Please pray this week for those who are sick and need healing, and those who you can share the love of Christ with! Do not forget to pray for your church, your community, and your pastor.
