** Action Steps for Mission of God (Billy Graham)

Step 1: Identify Your Mission Field - Psalm 96:3 tells us to “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!” Keep your eyes open for people you can talk to and ways you can connect the conversation with Christ.

Step 2: Focus On The Gospel - The Gospel has power to transform lives. If you’re short on time and want to explain the Good News in a nutshell, share John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

Step 3: Share Your Story of God’s Power - No matter how “ordinary” yours may seem, we’ve all got a story to tell and you never know what it can mean to someone until you share it. Above all, remember that it’s God’s business to turn a person’s heart towards Christ. Though we are to be obedient in sharing our faith, our persuasion alone is not enough. As 1 Corinthians 3:6 says, some plant, some water, but it is God who makes the seed grow.

** Each Month of 2024 we are going to have a Christian principle that we will focus on. Christian Principle for December - Love - “Put others before yourself by living the 12 Christian principles.” Jesus and the cross as the combination of all 12 principles: (John 3:16)

**Grief Share Group - We have had the same two people over the past three months so they have decided that we will meet as necessary. If you would like to be a part of a grief sharing group, please let Pastor Mike know and we can get it back!

** The new website and email are active and are the new contact locations for all things Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff. https://www.cornerstonedegraff.org/ is online but still a work in progress. You are hopefully using the new [email protected] for the church email.
** There are positions available within the church for you to get involved and belong to this body of believers. Be prayerful over the possibilities that God is desiring to use you. 
- We are also looking for a Lay Leader for the church!
There are many more ways in which you can get involved. Reach out to Pastor Mike with the ways in which God is calling you to be active!

GRACE will be off for the Christmas break. Riverside Local Schools break begins on 12/23 and goes through 1/5.

** Light Hours is a small group for our college age, young adults and would like a Bible study for your age group, let me know. We can get something started that fits your schedules!

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on January 2nd and they will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm.

** Our Cornerstone Men's group needs to get started! I am going to be starting a Tuesday night group starting in the New Year! Our first meeting will be on Tuesday January 7th at 6:00!!

** 5th Quarter has come to a close. We are looking to create a small group that will begin to meet and discuss our plans for next year. Be looking out for the when and where!

** Looking for people to join a new small group. This group will meet once a month and will tackle a tough topic that takes some reflection. Think of it as a Bible study, but a little deeper! Want to go deeper? Let us know!

**Missions Moment - We will also be working through the school to find a way to help a family or families during the holidays!

**Missions Moment - We were able to pack 38 shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child last week! These will be going out to children across the world who will now have a Christmas thanks to all of you! We will also be working through the school to find a way to help a family or families during the holidays!
