**Action Steps to Being An Active Member Of Christ’s Church

Step 1: Show Up: Hebrews 10:25 “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” In a world that fears commitment, be committed.

Step 2: Serve With Gifts: Romans 12: 6-8 - “In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.” Use what God has given you to help the body grow and yourself!

Step 3: Reflect Christ: 1 John 4:7 - “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.”

** Pastor Mike will be in the office this Tuesday from 11-1. I will have fewer office hours this summer, but making contact with you and setting time to visit with you this summer. 

** Last Sunday Worship Night was, yet again, an emotional night filled with the Holy Spirit's presence. An emotional testimony from Peggy Gamble-Butovich and an incredible call to mission from missionary Scott Grube! What an amazing time of worshiping our amazing God! Our next Sunday night worship will be on August 31st at 6:00, at Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff.

**Grief Share Group - Our grief group is currently on hiatus. If you would like to be a part of a grief sharing group, please let Pastor Mike know and we can get it back!

We meet with Riverside school representatives on Monday, July 21st, to determine our activities for weekend meal bags (start date/end date, processes that need to be changed, etc.)  We won't know the student counts until later August.  

We have already started stocking the shelves in the room at Cornerstone Fellowship of DeGraff, where we pack bags usually on Tuesday, with help from the RTC Possibilities group.  It won't be long until school starts!

We hope to offer Mondays in October "Soup & Sandwich Drive-Thru" evenings again. There are 4 Mondays in October this year.  Churches usually take turns

** Blessing of our Teachers and Students will take place during church on Sunday August 17th. Please join us as we pray for and anoint our teachers and students as they head into the new school year!

** Light Hours is a small group for our college age, young adults and would like a Bible study for your age group, let me know. We can get something started that fits your schedules! Let us know how we can meet your needs!

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on July 17th. They will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm.
** Our Cornerstone Men's group will be taking a break for the month of July. We will be back next Tuesday, August 5th at 6:00 pm!

** 5th Quarter might look a little different this year. If you are interested in helping through the season get in touch with Don Klingler on how you can get plugged in to helping our students!

** Looking for people to join a new small group. Let me know what your availability is and we can find a way to start something new, or get you plugged into something that will fit your schedule!

** Cornerstone Family Campout! - The family campout was canceled due to poor weather, and it was a good thing we did as the storms moved through right when we would have been outside. Stay tuned to see if we will come up with a make-up date!

** Our Cornerstone Men's group will be taking a break for the month of July. We did have four men get registered and attend the training to become certified archery instructors and are looking forward to starting our Cornerstone Archery program in the fall at Riverside Local Schools!
