Step 1: Total Sacrifice: Romans 12:1 - "And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him."

Step 2: Forward Focus: Philippians 3:13 - "No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead."

Step 3: Relationship over Ritual: Hosea 6:6 - "I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings."

** Pastor Mike will be in the office on Wednesday this week from 1-3. With Grady's schedule changing there is a small window in the morning. Pray for him to begin working on getting his driver's license!

** Did you know that God has blessed you with a special set of skills and gifts? He has also called you to be involved and belong to this body of believers. Be prayerful over the possibilities that God is desiring to use you. There are many ways in which you can get involved. Reach out to Pastor Mike with the ways in which God is calling you to be active!

Riverside is back in school and this week we will return to packing on Tuesday at 10:00 am.

** Our Cornerstone Women's group is planning to meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The next meeting will take place on January 8th. They will be meeting at the church at 6:00 pm. Come for some fellowship and care, with some fun of course! Feel free to stop in and check it out!

** Our Cornerstone Men's will be back! Starting on January 9th at 6:30. We will be looking at Tony Evans' book No More Excuses or possibly discussing other options. Hopefully you can join us!

** Youth Group Sunday Night!!! We will be back on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in January! Be on the lookout!

** Impulse Youth Conference - Grades 7-12 at Sidney First Methodist next Sunday from 2:00 - 9:00pm. Worship and dinner included as well as breakout sessions. Head over to the link to register. Cost is $25, but please do not let that stop you from signing up. **Missions Moment - 31 Boxes were packed and shipped for Operation Christmas Child so that children across the world were able to have a good Christmas. We also participated with Quincy Methodist Church in the Good Deeds Advent Calendar. 25 different charities across our local community, state, country and the world benefited from our giving!

** We are now collecting canned vegetables for the Five Loaves Food Pantry. We need 110 by January 18th. They give out meals and food boxes Wed. January 21st at 4:30 pm. If you would like to help pack and deliver boxes.
